Welcome to the Macon Vocal Music Home page!

I am Mrs. Kimberly Guilford. This is my 33rd year of teaching Music and my 3rd year at Macon. I have been a K-12 Vocal/Instrumental teacher for 17 of those years (Hale, Brunswick and New Cambria) and 13 years at Sturgeon as the K-12 Vocal teacher. I graduated from MU with my BS in Music Education and my Masters in Education in Music. I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 29 years (in December) and we have 2 daughters: Hannah is a 3rd year Elementary Music Teacher in Sterling, IA and Rachel is an RN in Labor and Delivery at MU Women and Children's Hospital in Columbia. In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking, sewing/quilting and Stampin' Up card making. I am a HUGE Cardinals fan and love the Chiefs. We have season tickets for MU Football going on 25 years. I look forward to teaching and working with the students of the Macon Choirs.
