FFA Opportunities
The National FFA Organization presents many opportunities to members that will greatly benefit them in the future. Members are given the chance to explore new career options, strengthen communication skills, and express qualities an FFA member should possess! The FFA has a generous awards program, and encourages members to participate and expand their knowledge in the many events that are offered.
Degrees of Membership
- Greenhand FFA Degree: lowest degree awarded at local level
- Chapter FFA Degree: highest degree awarded at local level
- State FFA Degree: highest degree awarded at state level
- American FFA Degree: highest degree attainable, awarded nationally
Other Opportunities / Awards
- Proficiency Awards: given to students who excel in their SAE projects
- Star Member Awards: outstanding members are awarded at each degree level
- Career Development Events: Over 20 CDE’s are offered
- Scholarships: over $1,000,000 is awarded to FFA members
