Welcome to all the alumni of Macon County R-1 Schools. It is our pleasure to help keep you informed about Macon whether you are now across the country or just across town. The Macon District website can be a valuable resource for keeping up with upcoming events in the district as well as finding out about recent developments. Alumni Basketball Event
In order to raise some funds for the After-Prom Party, the committee has decided to host an MHS ALUMNI BASKETBALL EVENT on April 11, 2009, beginning at 3:30. Cost will be $3.00 per participant, $3.00 per spectator. (This will be Easter weekend, so lots of people should be home!!!)
We have had great reactions to this idea and hope that you will either participate in the games, cheerleading or pep band. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TOWARD PROVIDING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR STUDENTS FOLLOWING THE PROM for the After-Prom Party.
If you know of anyone that would be interested, PLEASE forward. If you are interested... SIGN UP! (The liability waivers will be signed upon arrival on the 11th.)
This event should be a lot of fun for everyone involved... so get involved!
We will also need lots of helpers... concession stand, clean up, spectators, etc. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!
If you are a chairman of a reunion committee or would like to have information posted about an upcoming alumni event please send all information in Microsoft Office format to the webmaster and we will try to get your event posted as soon as possible. Please make sure that is says "Alumni" in the subject line of the email.
